Experience the new look and feel of our Internet Banking platform beginning Tuesday, November 13th, 2018! By completing just a few steps, Heartland State Bank Online will offer you an enhanced online banking experience.

Heartland State Bank considers security a top priority. We’ll continue to use multifactor authentication (MFA) in addition to user names and passwords to authenticate your identity. MFA assures you our website is secure and confidential.

Effective November 13th, the following steps will help you update your current internet banking experience. Must be performed on a web browser (computer).

Step 1:  Your current username will stay the same; however, to log in you must type in your username in all lowercase letters. For instance, if your username is JohnDoe22, it will be converted to johndoe22.

Step 2:  Your initial password will be the last four digits of the “Login Owner’s” tax identification number. For example, a husband and wife may share a single username but the wife originally enrolled the account in internet banking and her TIN is 123-45-6789. Her initial password will be 6789. The password will need to be changed immediately and will require at least eight characters including one alpha, one numeric, and one special character. This is not a change from current requirements.

Step 3:  You will then be prompted to answer new security questions. Please keep track of your answers to these questions and note that they are case sensitive.

Step 4: Please read and agree to the updated Heartland State Bank Online terms and conditions.

Step 5: If you use the Mobile Banking app (TouchBanking), you can sign in after you have changed your password on a web browser.
