Update on What Heartland State Bank Is Doing to Address the Coronavirus

Heartland State Bank and Heartland Financial Services, Inc. has continued to act in the best interests of its customers and communities when dealing with the COVID-19 virus.  We appreciate the willingness and ability of our customers and staff to adapt to this everchanging situation and are proud to continue to be your local community bank that provides “Uptown Services with the Hometown Touch”. 

Heartland State Bank and Heartland Financial Services, Inc. has re-opened our lobbies to our customers as of May 18, 2020.  With this decision, you might notice some changes to our normal procedures. We ask that you respect these changes and to follow CDC guidance to continue to keep our staff and all customers safe. 

  • Please continue to use our alternative banking options such as online banking, mobile banking, phone banking, night drop, and drive-up when applicable.

  • Please limit your time in the bank to 10 minutes or less.Also, we are limiting the number of customers inside at one time to 2 customers.

    1. When arriving at the building, please be aware of other customers.If there are already other customers waiting inside, please wait before entering or come back another time.

    2. Please contact us prior to coming in if you are ill with a recent onset of cough, shortness of breath, or fever over 100°F, or have had close contact with someone with COVID-19

  • If you are wishing to meet with a loan officer, insurance representative, open a new account, or get in your safe deposit box, please call ahead and schedule an appointment.

  • Upon entering, please use the hand sanitizer provided at the table and maintain social distancing by following the appropriate signs and employee guidance.Pens are also available for your use.

    1. We ask that if you use a pen, please keep it for your personal use.
